ONCE UPON A TIME…

In an area of outstanding natural beauty, just South of the city of Bath, two cosy cabins perched on a hillside ready to welcome weary travellers for a magical stay in beautiful Somerset.

The cabins

Each of our cabins have been subtly inspired by some of our favourite books in the hope that guests will feel inclined to step out of the hectic, modern world and into another story, where the narrative revolves around switching off, enjoying the private sauna, good food, uninterrupted reading, wandering, endless cuppas and plenty of Scrabble.

Lyra

Inspired by the otherworldly magic of Jordan College, the far North and Lyra’s travels through Philip Pullman’s Dark Materials. Inky blues and rich reds, Oxford spires, Gyptian canal boats and journeys to wild and unknown places.

Inspired by the changing seasons and island landscapes evoked by LM Montgomery through the adventures of Anne Shirley. Burnt oranges and mossy greens, mystical woods, golden Autumns & home to bucolic Green Gables.
